Q: Why the name "Rally Cap Couriers"?
A: There are so many courier services that take themselves WAAAAY to
seriously. Basically any company with "Express" in their name falls into this category. We have a lot of fun doing what we do, and
wanted a name that reflected that. We like baseball, but it's not about that. Yes, we 'come through in a
pinch', but it's not about that. Just a fun name from a fun service.
Q: What does "Local Service" mean?
A: The very best way to ensure that we can provide great service for
our customers is to make sure that we are in position when they call. The way
that we can make this happen with alarming consistency is to only have clients
in a small part of the world. Our little corner of the world is the Berkeley/
Oakland /Emeryville area. That's it. We don't have customers in San Francisco,
the South Bay, the North Bay or anywhere else! Now, while our customers are
all in this area, they need us to go hither and yon for them -- especially
to San Francisco. No problem! That's what we do. Given our 'head start' by
being just down the street when our customers call and the quickness that bikes
provide, give us an advantage over every other messenger service.
Q: What kind of things do you courier about?
A: You name it. Checks, deposits, documents, film, photos, drawings,
plans, equipment, parts, food, tickets, toner, clothing, coffee, office supplies,
court filings. That's a few... there are countless more. The world needs things
taken from point A to point B, and sometimes that need is urgent. We're specialists
at getting those deliveries done on time.
Q: Do you really use bikes to do deliveries?
A: Most definitely we use bikes as part of our repetoire. Bikes are
quick and versatile, and are the vehicle of choice for our local runs. The
bike's BART advantage is critical to getting packages to San Francisco no matter what the traffic conditions.
Q: Is there any monthly minimum to have an account with Rally
Cap?
A: NO! Whether you use us once a day, once a week, or once a month, we
are poised and ready to provide you with service. There are no monthly minimums
at Rally Cap.
Q: Does my account setup form need to be completed before I can
get service?
A: The most important thing for us is making sure that your time-critical
deliveries get done on time. We can always take care of the paperwork later
